Unable to send a Word document from my AppleMac
When I try to send a Word document from my AppleMac it converts it into a Pages document - please help

When you open a Word document in Pages, it translates it into a Pages document. The original Word document is neither changed nor remains open.
If you have an existing Word document and want to send it via Apple Mail, then right-click on that Word document in the Finder, click Share… from that secondary Finder menu, and then select Mail from the resulting Share panel. That will attach your Word document to a Mail compose window.
