How can I search for Photos that are not tagged
i am having difficult searching for an album that displays photos that are not tagged with the search keyword

Let me try to parse that statement.
Are you trying to create a Smart Album to select photos (and videos) that have no keywords? The criterion for that would be ("Keyword", "Is Not", "Any").
If that is not what you wanted, please explain further.
