iTunes music in Windows 11

Loaded iTunes on new Windows laptop but I can't find the music in iTunes that's on my desktop. Says I must use "Music" app. Do I have to pay to get my music?

You don't have to use Apple Music, but Apple seem to be making it harder to find iTunes to install. You can either pick through the options at iTunes - Apple or use this direct link: https://www.apple.com/itunes/download/win64. If you've already installed Apple Music, TV, or Devices those must be removed for iTunes to work correctly. See Move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Community for steps to move or copy your library to your new computer.
