Driving me nuts,,, every time I type the word "alot", autocorrect alters it to "a lot". I have to retype the word several times before autocorrect will let it stay. "Alot" and "a lot" are not the same word nor have the same definition. What’s the deal?

Hi there,
Your autocorrect will rectify the words you type based on the country you set your language to. so it might be that the version of English you set your iPhone's keyboard to does not have the 2 options in its dictionary.
