Can anybody explain me how to set my home location when MAPS doesn't recognize my mail address ? Homekit doesn't work on our new home. Lights stay ON when nobody home or OFF when we arrive. The stair turns OFF when you need it. The map won't allow me to set my home location manually. My family members are removed from my family automations. Any help will be appreciated since it looks like Apple doesn't know either.

In Maps, press on your exact house location. This will bring a popup window. Scroll the popup window and copy the content of "Coordinates". They are the latitude and longitude.
Then, in the Shortcuts app, for your home automations, when choosing a location, paste the coordinates you copied above and pick the resulting location. It will probably show the name of a nearby town. Ignore that. You'll see in the map below your choice that the correct location was chosen.

Yes, it should if you include them in the list of people for whom the home automation is defined.
