I struggled for a very long time to set up my email. I keep getting errors about the wrong password, even though I enter the correct one. When I finally managed to get it working, the email only works intermittently. Often, I see an error for this account in the bottom bar, and when I click on it, it shows “POSIX 60.” On my old iPhone, everything works fine, but unfortunately, it doesn’t on the new one. Is there anything that can be done about this?

I don’t use vpn. Apple messed up last update and sitting quiet about it.
Upgrade your to 18.1 and after that restart it.
It’s upgraded and restarted. Still same.
Turn off any VPN you are using
