I just bought a new pair AirPod4s 2024 and when I went to connect my phone to them for the first time the airpod name came us as “silly c*nts airpods” how is this even possible ? they are supposed to be brand-new in an unopened box and a gift for my 14 year old sister! This is unacceptable I don’t understand how this has been able to happen.

These appear to be previously owned AirPods. From where did you purchase these? If from Apple, you can take them back for a full refund within 14 days of purchase. I suspect you bought them elsewhere. Return them if you can. The previous owner should have gone thru the steps below to remove them from their account.

My advice still stands. Take them back. They are not new, no matter what Argos promised or how the package looked. If they were new, they would not show a previous owner's name.
