Facebook app refuses to recognize correct password on my iPad

Bought an iPad mini A17pro. Transferred everything from old iPad mini. Now, FB app refuses to recognize my correct password. I reset the password, then tried to log in with new password, and it didn’t recognize the new password, asking again if I wanted to reset password. I can log on with password on browser but not app. Have tried all the usual things: deleted, reloaded app. Restarted iPad. Nothing has worked. Any ideas?

After you change password in the app, reboot your iPad and then try again. I was having the same problem but with another app a couple of months ago and for some reason rebooting after changing the password fixed the problem. Now I always reboot after changing a password or passcode on any app or setting.
