Has anyone had success in accessing Rouvy on Apple TV 4K model A1842?

I can download the Rouvy app but it won't open.

Do you have the black Siri Remote (1st generation) paired to your Apple TV 4K box (A1842 or later)? It seems that this app requires this model remote. Possibly because this model remote has a built-in accelerometer and gyroscope, which sets it apart from earlier and later models.

I can download the Rouvy app but it won't open.

The app opens fine for me, after having installed it. It starts with a listing of features, and a yellow ‘Get Started’ button to sign in with your Rouvy account.

That is not an official Siri Remote. It is not even a bluetooth remote. It certainly isn’t a Siri Remote (1st generation) with built-in accelerometer and gyroscope.

I'm using a "New Replacement Universal Apple TV Remote Control Works with Apple TV 4K/1st Gen 2 3 4/ HD A2169 A1842 A1625 A1427 A1469 A1378 A1218" from Amazon - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CM6677DK?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details. The remote controls everything on the screen, such as downloading and opening the Rouvy app but it won't open the "get started" button.
