Troubleshooting Issues After Updates:
A. Report this to Apple:
Do your Part: Apple rarely reads these forums on their own time. So, to get the word out to Apple on this, provide them with feedback. They won't get back to you directly on this, but the more they hear of it, the more they will know what problems exist and how to go about fixing them. So, do you part and provide feedback on it. Apple will know nothing on this, if you don't report the to them.
- Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
- Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
- Comment: that this all started after installing an update, and how you have troubleshot this, thus far. Include the URL of this thread.
- Proceed from there as necessary
B. Add Back the Account:
Remove the account, and then add it back. Do you use an app password? If so, use a new app password, and see if that fixes a few things. As an example, here is how to do so in Gmail: Sign in with app passwords - Gmail Help
C. Update iOS 18.1:
iOS18.1 has been released. So, update to that, if not already installed.
D. Disable a VPN:
Are you using a VPN? IF so, disable it. Security just gets in the way in the iOS update, and this is a put example of how and why. Re, trash them, and refrain from using them, unless required for school and work.
