Editing Chart Colours in Numbers

I have created a chart in a Numbers spreadsheet. However, when I produce the chart the trend lines do not reflect the colours of the annotation bars. Can these lines be changed to match the side label cells and, if so , how might I do this?

There's no automatic tie to the colors between the colors on your chart and the source data your data table... TBH, I'm not sure what the rule is that Numbers uses.


Fortunately it's easy to change, though. Just select the chart line and use Format Inspector -> Style.


From here you can change the line settings, including its color:
