Apple Music not working on ps5 !!

Same happened to me. I just wanna play and listen music after a hard working day and now this :(

I reinstalled and unlinked as I had this issue yesterday. Nothing worked, it eventually just started working on its own. Try downloading and using Spotify like I did. It must’ve gotten jealous lol

having the same issues as well to literally the other day it was playing and now it’s not what’s going on I didn’t everything unlink undownloading it it still not working but on my iPhone it works just fine

Yes the same thing happened to me. It was about 9 pm or so when i just stated up gta and then it just didn’t work, I tried contacting apple and they said they were going to have to bring me to a supervisor.😑😑

Then it must be the update because it was literally working yesterday and we had no problems until it updated today. So all I can assume is we have to wait for PlayStation to fix the input and output on the app because something didn’t work with the updated version.

I’ve had the same issue yesterday and today. I played my music about 30 min ago and it didn’t work (as everyone else is saying). All of a sudden it just started working as I was playing. Not sure if it’s fixed or if it’s just mine.

I saw this guide give some methods. It mentions that wait for sometimes, activate apple music membership, verifying PSN server satus, check for update can fix the issue. You can check if it's real or not by using the above method. But I think the fastest solution would be to contact apple support and report the error.

UPDATE: It looks like it is working today.

Based on all my testing from yesterday, I did discover 1 album was working, but it was an album I ripped from my CD collection, not a purchased iTunes track or streaming through Apple Music itself. So this appears to have been an issue somewhere on the back-end that they appear to have resolved.

i’ve been in touch with apple support the last few days, sony as well. have been told it’s an issue on Apples end by the company itself, and they’re working to fix this issue right now for all playstation users, they should be coming out with an update here soon. all we can do is report the bugs and glitches to apple. which will help them diagnose the problem further. software engineers are going to have to work hard to diagnose what exactly the issue is but hopefully in the next update this problem will be solved for everyone.

I literally did that and was ****** to have music while gaming I had to Spotify with ads when I have Apple Music paid…but I shall try this when I get home to see as I’m so eager to have my music I bought back with no ads.
