I requested help based on contact via Apple email - I found that only calls could resolve and support sent me an email saying I would get a call - I did and pressed “1” and support said cannot hear. This has happened to me before. Tried again and it happened twice - I have a 16 Pro Max and I don’t understand. Is this a fraud?
Find a different telephone number for Apple Support to call, as one potential work-around.
Today 11/11/24 I was told that support would call me and they did and said press “1” - hung up
