15.1 Sequoia Battery Drain!?What's happening?

I have a macbook m3 pro which is 3 months old, I blow dust off it and treat it a little better than a baby, charge it to 80 and discharge it to 20 and all that. after 15.1 the battery (which is 100%) when watching a video on youtube, other processes are closed is 1% in 6 minutes! !! for 6!!! also the process of rolling back to Sonoma now via flash drives 🤦🏼‍♂️

After updating to sequoia 15.1 my MacBook Air m3 has been dying suddenly when it reaches 20%. I took it to the Apple Store and they gave it back saying they found no issues. I’m guessing it is the software update but it’s so annoying. Did downgrading help with your issue ?

It happened to my MacBook Air m1 which I only got last September 2024 in Ventura. I skipped the Sonoma update. Now I regret updating to Sequoia. Drains the battery really fast. With Ventura, I can have it at a 100% before starting an 8-hour shift and by the end of my shift, still have 48% or 45% battery left. Now, 4hrs on my shift the battery is at 36%. Not a good update. I downloaded the Ventura OS but it needs a flash drive of at least 32GB of storage. Sad.... I just want it back to Ventura.
