Well that was weird. All of a sudden, all files and folders on my desktop (Sonoma 14.7.1) were cleared, and dumped into a "Desktop folder" sitting on my desktop. I had to manually put them all back on my actual desktop. Nope, restarting Finder didn't fix it. Why did this happen???
