When I attempt to open Mail it wants to download 37+k e-mails. I do not know where they are or how to download them. When I begin the download it crashes at the very end. I have reinstalled the OS that did nothing. Maybe deleting Mail and reinstall it would do something. Can I do that? All help is appreciated.

I really wouldn't suggest you remove Mail from a Mac, but if did and are trying to reinstall it follow this sites directions
