I really need help getting these in. When I take them off it’s just the cushion part and this kettle stem part stays in. But when I pull it just breaks my AirPod in half. I’ve asked and searched everything I can to figure this out but I just can’t.

When you have the airpod like on your photo, the eartip is off. Take a new ear tip, and gentle push it over the AirPods middle thingy
Also make sure that the tips for the first generation and the second generation are not interchangeable for as far as I know
