How do I delete contents I downloaded from my old iMac that is my other user name to my primary user name contents as it is taking up too much space, without deleting my primary user name contents?

First off, I'm sorry I don't have my screenshot application installed so I'll have to talk you thought this. I'll assume you migrated the data to your new iMac, And for example purpose I'll presume that your name is "Cres".

You can open Finder, with the Finder window open and active, go to the menu bar at the top of your screen and select the "Finder" menu. Then select "Settings" from the drop-down menu. When Settings opens, go to the Sidebar page and once again, assuming your name is Cres, the first item under "Locations" will read "Cres's iMac" and have an empty checkbox beside it. Check that checkbox and close the settings page.

Now in your Finder window, look in the left sidebar for "Cres's iMac" an select it. In the main Finder Window, you will see the Macintosh HD. Double-click that to open it. Next, double-click the "Users" folder. You should find what you need in this folder. When the migration completes it will set all the data in a folder with the same name that was used on the old system that was migrated. If you had 3 user accounts on that machine, you'll have 3 extra folders here in the Users folder. You can get any data you might want out of one or more of them, or if you don't want anything, you can simple Control-Click the folder(s) you want to remove and choose "Move to Trash". This will move them to the Trash folder.

Next, and with Finder still active, you go to the top menu bar again. This time select the "Go" dropdown menu. Next, choose "Go to Folder" at the bottom of the dropdown menu. This will take your finder window to the Trash. You will see the items you have deleted in this folder. At the top right of the window you will see an "Empty" button. Hit that and the data will be permanently deleted. When this finishes you have all the space these files were taking up available again.

Finally, go into settings, select "Users and Groups and remove the accounts you aren't keeping (if they still show up)

Again, sorry I can't include screenshots. Still, I hope this helps.

Good luck and cheers!
