Is it possible to create a contact using Maps?
I’m sure this was an option available from Maps before. Seems like a very simple thing and it is unbelievable it’s not a feature.

Frustrated1-1 ~ Touch & hold a location on the map. In the Marked Location panel which appears, tap on the Share icon at upper right. In the Share panel which appears, you should see:
Create New Contact
Add to Existing Contact
...If no luck, post back with screenshots.

stedman ~ This what3words app could also work for you. It's an easy way to identify precise locations. Every 10 foot square has been given a unique combination of three words: a whatswords address. It also shows "GPS Accuracy" when the compass is tapped:

Thanks. That works, but what was and is still causing me a problem is when I do that with my location, I.e. when I am somewhere and I want to create a contact for that location. When I follow your directions, the two options aren’t included.
It does work if I move slightly off my location.
thanks
Alancito, thanks for that tip. Living in a rural area, this has been an ongoing annoyance for me. I have now updated a couple of my contacts with the newly placed location pins. I look forward to seeing if they accurately take me to their locations.
