Why does my iPhone 15 Pro Reminders app keep losing date and time settings?

Since getting my iPhone 15 pro I cannot get my reminders app to work properly. When I try to put a date and time in for a new reminder and press done, the date and time disappear so basically it would not remind me at a certain time. When I redo it then it retains the date and time. Software is up to date and it still keeps dropping the time and date - help appreciated

Check Account Settings:

• If you’re using an email account (e.g., Yahoo, Gmail) to sync your reminders, there might be a conflict.

• Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts.

• Select your email account and toggle Reminders off, wait a moment, and then toggle it back on.

• Alternatively, if you no longer use that account for reminders, consider removing it from the Reminders app.

2. Restart Your iPhone:

• A simple restart can often resolve temporary glitches.

• Press and hold the side button and either volume button until the slider appears.

• Drag the slider to turn off your iPhone.

• After the device turns off, press and hold the side button again until the Apple logo appears.

3. Update iOS:

• Ensure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS, as updates often include bug fixes.

• Go to Settings > General > Software Update to check for and install any available updates.

4. Reinstall the Reminders App:

• Deleting and reinstalling the app can help resolve issues.

• Press and hold the Reminders app icon until it jiggles, then tap the X to delete it.

• Visit the App Store, search for “Reminders,” and reinstall the app.

5. Reset All Settings:

• This won’t delete your data but will reset system settings like Wi-Fi passwords and wallpapers.

• Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.

6. Check Date and Time Settings:

• Go to Settings > General > Date & Time.

• Make sure Set Automatically is turned on. This ensures that your iPhone’s date and time are in sync, which can prevent issues with time-based reminders.

• If it’s already on, try toggling it off and on again.

7. Contact Apple Support:

• If the issue persists after trying the above steps, it may be best to contact Apple Support for further assistance.
