how can u change photo size for uploading/attaching to email or fb, etc?

I got a new phone, upgraded to iPhone 14, and I no longer see options to reduce the picture size to small when I'm uploading pictures onto email or Facebook, et cetera.

After doing a bunch of research and choosing multiple photos I figured some things out and wanted to share it but in order to do that I had to ask a new question.

for those who don't know :* you have to go to the bottom left of your screen, BEFORE you choose your photos, and select "options". once you select a photo, that disappears

Though it seems on my phone when I select multiple photos it comes back as an option

But if I choose just one photo, I never get an option to make it small unless I do it before I choose the photo to upload
