iCloud Photos

Hi all I have a question that I hope someone can answer in simple terms

i had a old Apple ID for a phone I had lost/stolen I had backups off (stupidly) and iCloud Photos turned off.

I have since got a new phone and NEW Apple ID.

i was able to recently get into my old Apple ID from the lost phone and was hoping to see my old pictures from the old Apple ID but when logged into iCloud desktop it says turn on photos to use iCloud photos

My question is if I sign into my new device and turn on iCloud Photos will all my old pictures return to the iCloud of my old Apple ID

bearing in mind I had backups and iCloud Photos off and the iCloud is showing no data for photos

i had a lot of old memories there so was just wondering if that was a possibility

Share your Photos Between your Apple IDs:

These are separate Apple IDs. So, share them between your old Apple ID and your new Apple ID, through use of Family Sharing. Note that Family Sharing automatically creates what is a shared album, when enabled. How to Share Albums in Photos on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac - Apple Support
