Apple TV App Language Issues

Tried to watch the movie “Persepolis” with Farsi (Persian) audio. TV page lists it has having Persian audio. After I bought it, there is no option to change the audio from the original (French) in either the app on my IPhone or other devices. Tried setting default language to Persian, no change. Tried downloading with the download language set to Persian, still no change

In which country did you get this tile? (To what country is your Apple account set?)

All Apple content Stores are regional to the user and their account settings for that. Meaning that Persepolis language support may be different for users in e.g. the US, or France, or Canada.

Note that “Original Audio” doesn’t mean that these languages are included in this streaming version to choose from. The streaming movie may be dubbed differently from the theatrical release, or have one main language with a few lines on other languages.

See under “Audio” (not “Original Audio”) for what language tracks are included.
