My system is totally up to date. It seems others have had issues with finding this template. iCould was for some the solution, but in my case not. Is there no way to download these templates?

However, I contacted Apple support. They were puzzled too as to why the template was not showing in my template chooser while it was on theirs. The second tier of support worked out that it had to do with the language setting: for some reason the template Shared Expenses is only available in English (United States).
On my machine (macOS 15.1, Numbers 14.2) it's here:
I got to the template chooser by going to File > New.
At Numbers > Numbers Settings 'Show Template Chooser' is selected (the default).

Cannot find the Shared Expenses templates in Numbers (neither desktop nor iCloud)!
