iPad recommendation to start learning to program at university?

Good morning, I'm in a dilemma, I'm starting my career in computer science at the university, and I want a machine that will serve me for the 5 years of the degree, both for work, using video beam, and to learn programming languages, so which of the 3 options would be better, an iPad Air, Pro or an iPad? And how much memory would be recommended? Thanks :D

Check with your university and its Computer Science department as to what machines they recommend for your planned course of study.

Depending on their curriculum, they might have a preference for Windows or for macOS. Or they might not care which platform you use. In any case, find out what they expect before laying out the cash for a new machine.

Between a Mac and an iPad, it's an easy choice: go with the Mac. Apple's Xcode development environment (for developing Mac, iPhone, iPad, etc. applications) runs on Mac hosts – not on iPhone or iPad ones. If you have any thoughts of installing other development tools, they're also more likely to be available for macOS than for iPadOS.
