Using GarageBand with my pre-recorded full songs

I have GarageBand for my iPhone 15. I cannot figure out how to import audio files. They’re all grayed out and I don’t even understand what I’m looking at when it’s trying to create a new song. My simple question is how do I import an audio file into GarageBand, such as a full three minute song?

I don’t quite understand I mean, it should be self-explanatory when I open the app up. It just seems to want loops from a library somewhere. There’s nothing about importing audio files. I’ve been using music software for a long time on PC and when I open this up, it’s just bizarre. It has nothing leading to placing my audio file on a track and editing it. It should be just that simple but it’s not, I see the file but it’s grayed out.
