Fix Apple Intelligence Stuck Downloading

Did a reset on the iPhone with a fresh IOS download of 18.2 and everything worked as expected. After a week plus of hoping for a download, this was the only solution that fixed the issue for me.

After my phone had been stuck on download for about4 hours I restarted the phone and Apple intelligence appears to work now. :-)

Ok, similar for me. I had to power cycle or reboot my phone, then I turned cellular data off while connected to Wi-Fi and it finished downloading finally.

Here is how I fix:

1.remove and restore all data on my iphone

2.change region and language to US/UK, turn on apple intelligence in settings->apple intelligence&siri

3.change the language of siri to what you set in 2 , then wait a few second, if there isn't appear the percentage of downloading, do step 2&3 again.

4.wait until downloading compete.

5.if during downloading, the percentage disapear, what you can do is:

i) keep waiting until is appear again

ii) do step 2&3 again

ii) just ignore

iii) hold the power button to check if the download is compete

No need to reset, change language or anything crazy. Simply put IPhone on a charger, power cycle (turn off the IPhone completly), reboot the phone, go to settings and AI option will show. Fixed mine within less than 5 minutes.

1.Switch to different region in Siri as English US. It’ll show not available for the region.

2.Switch to another WiFi network then go to Siri and select UK as region

It’ll be downloaded in minutes, which worked for me😀16 pro user

had same issue, that randomly fixed when i went to settings, apple intelligence&siri, siri & dictation history and deleted it.

I fixed mine by just changing the región to Japan, language: US English and for Siri US English aswell (I don't know if this helps but I picked voice 4)

Couldn’t get UK or US to work for me, but switching iPhone Region and Siri to Canada seems to download and “new” Siri working perfectly. Hoping Apple sorts this out soon.

Mine was stuck I turned Siri on and it started working!

Randomly worked. I double-tapped where it said “preparing” a few times, a percentage of completion at 15% popped up and quickly finished at 100%. I was then able to activate it after being stuck for over 24 hours.

I think this may work. My friend was stuck on the same problem, but he eventually solved it by restarting (shutting down) his iPad. This will most likely work. Just be sure to wait a few minutes after the restart.

MODERATORS: Stop deleting my post! It is relevant that I was on a previous test version and now on the public release, and THAT is what is causing this issue for some of us!

Do you really think we haven't tried that? There is a deeper issue for some of us that is different than what YOU are experiencing. For those of use that were previously on a version of 18 (which these moderators won't let me mention since it uses the B word that rhymes with Meta) who've upgraded to the official public 18.2 release, no just putting it on the charger and power cycling does not work, I've literally done that a dozen times and it does NOT work. Again, to be clear, before the 18.2 public update, I HAD Apple Intelligence working in the Test version and it went away and won't download UNLESS I switch my brand new iPhone 16 Pro to the U.K. region. Even now, after all of this time, with the latest 18.2.1 update, it's STILL broken and I have to keep it on U.K. (that's now after probably three dozen power cycles while on the charger.) So don't equate YOUR experience as how everyone is experiencing this, it's a separate issue that you are not getting.

Switching from US to UK worked for me also. Sort of. Finally getting the glow with the freeze button, but still not working with the camera control.
