Can't reply to posts?

The "reply" button is greyed out on all community posts. Is anyone else having that issue?

means the thread has been locked for inactivity or age. Also, in my long tenure here I have seen very few posters who come back weeks or months later to look for new answers to their threads.


If you come here from a search engine, you will see a lot of those banners. Search engines are not conducive to effective helping here.

Choose topic areas whe you feel you can help. Use the site map links to go directly to those topics lists and work the first one or two pages. That way, posters get current information and can recognize your contributions with an upvote.

Meaning No further posting can be done - full stop


Not to get too picky but All Communities 


Yes, All Communities and not able to reply is possible IF you have Not Logged into the Apple Support Communities at all.  


As Test, I logged out of the Apple Support Communities and tried to reply to your question


I was Prompted to Log Into there Forums Before I could compose this reply


There are times when we maybe inactive on thee forums for over about 15 Minutes


Often when this happens, we are Automatically Logged Out of the Apple Support Communities


Think of this as a Security Feature much like many Canadian Banks do of you are not actively banking, they Log you Out automatically
