Formula help needed for Mac Numbers

The table “Year By Year Player ratings" is a filtered table showing a single player amongst a column of players that is hundreds of rows deep, which is data taken from a webpage and pasted into Numbers. The table on the right is how I want to arrange the data on a separate sheet but then to also show the % of improvements the player has made to his ratings over the given years. The formula for H2:J2 is fine it’s just the D2:G2 I need help with.

What I would like to be able to do is for the table on the right in the columns D2:G2 have those numbers automatically entered/input from the table on the left when this table is updated. I have played around with IF and COUNTIF formulas but I’m having trouble getting there myself.

So I need a formula that can sort through hundreds of rows to find a player name, recognise the correct year and then input the rating into the right cell.

Many thanks in advance!

Thank you so much SG, much appreciated.

Now that I have inserted that formula, I have now expanded that to other players on the ratings list which now looks like the following below.

My next question is, how do I get the cell in the formula D7 to always stay in the cell D1 so I can drag the formula down the column to fill in for the other players so it’s always looking for the year? IS that possible? So I can easily drag fill rather than have to go through every row and redo the formula to keep the D1 as the value I need.

Thank you again!
