Daily recurring reminder showing up on calendar and can't be deleted!

I set up a reminder in the reminders app, set it to remind daily, and then it automatically popped up as a daily tickbox in my apple calendar. I marked the reminder as completed in the reminders app, deleted it, and cleared my recently deleted. But now, it's still showing up in my apple calendar as an unchecked reminder, indefinitely (every day)... It's completely gone from my reminders app, can't find it when searching, and clicking 'show current reminder' in calendar opens a blank tab (on desktop) that crashes the calendar app, marking as completed doesn't clear the future daily reminders, and clicking delete in calendar doesn't work.

Tried every method of resolving this on desktop and iPhone that I can think of.

If anyone can help, please let me know!

Hello! I had exactly the same problem as you. I finally sorted it and, here is what I did. I opened Calendar on my Mac and in the main Calendar window, to the right of the 3 coloured buttons, clicked on the wee icon, arrowed in the first attachment. This opened up the side-bar. Among the options in the side-bar were to deselect the Reminders (and also, what I did) any Siri-related stuff. Voila! All of the Reminders in my Calendar disappeared! I hope that this may have helped you.
