I’m on a new phone 16 with iOS 18.0.1 and I’m noticing sometimes Calendar searches are coming up with “no results” when I can clearly see the word I’m searching for in Calendar event titles. However earlier in the week at first I had the same problem and then it cleared up and was working fine. (I’m not sure if I rebooted or what I did.)

I use my calendar to keep up with a LOT of different events and my search no longer works at all. When I search calendar for something, the only results I get are reminders that contained that word. And like you, even if I can see the event on the calendar, when I do the search it won't come up. Hope this gets fixed soon!

I contacted Apple Support - here’s what they said:
Go to Settings > tap on name > iCloud > calendar and then toggle off and then on for the calendars.
I was asked if I want to keep or delete previous synch calendars on my iPhone, and Apple Support said to say yes to keep the previous data. The I was asked if I want to merge existing local calendars and Apple Support said to say yes.
Then it took some time for calendars to synch. These steps solved the problem.
I installed iOS 18.1 and I’m still seeing issues. Some searches of the Calendar work but other searches show up with no results. It’s clear why or what differences are to give the variation.
