Show album cover art as the playlist art
when I create a playlist I want its art to use album art like it always used to. Can I permanently ban those hideous pink things that seem to be the default now?
Mac mini, macOS 14.6

I don't think using album artwork for playlists is an option anymore.
I know it's less convenient, but you can screenshot the artworks that you want and use something like Canva to collage them together like the Music app used to.
As for getting rid of the default playlist artwork options, you can't. But, you can choose to not use them.
If you need any more help, let me know! :)
Thanks. I found where I can choose to add art rather than using pink squares when I first create the playlist. Do you think there's a way to switch later?
I'm really boggled that Apple made this choice of hideous pink squares completely replacing actual art. What do you imagine they were thinking? It seems contrary to Apple's design philosophy
Oh I see now, click on the llittle pencil for "edit playlist" then click the first option in the row for art
I’m glad you figured it out! :)
Yeah, Apple’s new playlist artwork options definitely aren’t for everyone.
