Why is Apple Music Cutting Off the Left/Right Edges of My Album Artwork in OS Sequoia?

Being a graphic designer and lifetime user of iTunes/Music from inception, I have appreciated the incorporation of album artwork as a main feature of the application. When Apple axed 'cover flow' I was devastated, since I loved viewing the art and music at the same time. Now it seems that the current version of Music with OS Sequoia now cuts off the left and right portions of the artwork. All of my album art is perfectly square and within resolution guideline... however on my display, they are not square, and are 104% taller. Does this bother anyone else and wondering if there is a fix... or reason why? Thanks community!

I'd like to know when Apple will fix this. Sequoia has reframed album artwork so it's still 100% vertical but is cropping 5% (total, 2.5% on each side) from the left and the right side of the artwork, so only 95% of the horizontal dimension of image is visible in the Library windows. While this isn't super noticeable on probably three-quarters of album covers, it's resulting in artists' names being truncated, borders being screwed up, and loss of key visual elements.

This doesn't seem like an intentional change, because there's no logical reason for it; it has the feel of a foul-up that someone needs to get in there and fix.
