Lawrence, while very knowledgeable about Apple products, doesn't work for Apple. This is a user-to-user forum. Apple employee's post rarely and are always identified.
I suspect that "millions and millions" of people don't care that much about the changes. Most of the ones who do probably did one of the things Lawrence suggested:
- Your choices are to learn how to use it or get a better Calendar app from the app store (there are many)
- You can make a case with Apple about how you think it should work→Product Feedback - Apple, and if enough users suggest the same or similar changes it may happen
Continuing to complain about it here, while perhaps affording some limited catharsis, accomplishes nothing.
