I can no longer “search” in photos. For example if I wanted a photo from my photos that had something specific like a pumpkin, I could type in pumpkin and all photos I had with a pumpkin would pop up. Now since the new backup, it no longer does it😖 Anyone else hating the way they changed photos. It’s not user friendly to me AT ALL.

iPhone 13, iOS 18
I have an iPhone 13 I updated to IOS 18, I restarted. Everything is synced. When I open photos, I go in the upper right corner search, I type in, for example Halloween and usually all of my Halloween photos pop up but I get nothing!

Is apple planning to fix this problem? I use my phone at work and absolutely need the search feature restored or will have to change to an android device. I can't even search by location!
Wow, I thought it was me making a mistake when searching for a picture to show someone the other day until I sat down tonight and tried.

I did the latest update (18.4.1)last night after my photo search stopped working all of the sudden yesterday. I left my phone on the charger and locked overnight and now my search works again.
When I search something like “pumpkin” it brings up results but I can only see a few. It’ll say 1000 results but only let me scroll through about 40
