I have 2 overlapping ovals in all my Numbers sheets. Fortunately they don't print but they do distract. I am using an iPad with iOS 18

Quit Numbers and restart your iPad.
Next, uninstall Numbers and download a fresh copy from the App Store.
And, just in case, could you post a screenshot of these overlapping ovals? I’m suspecting that there are not what I thought they were, ie the local zoom feature.
Still there. No change.
Thanks for your help. Ovals have now disappeared! Not sure how or why. Maybe your solution worked and fix had a delay. Anyway thank you.
