iMessage activation issue with eSIM on my iPhone 13

So, I have been trying to get my iMessage & FaceTime for about two months now.

I hope I get help on this forum because trust me I have tried everything.

This started when I got my number changed from a physical sim to eSIM. While with the Physical SIM this issue never existed.

When I got my eSIM, a few things really stood out.

In settings the “My Number” field is blank, and cannot be edited.

In the iMessage and FaceTime settings pages, my number isn’t even listed under Send and Receive.

meanwhile, i can send both international and local sms and sms, I’m receiving smses, calls verification messages. iMessage just happens to not want to work.

For testing purposes, I tried with a different SIM card (physical) and it got activated in under 10 minutes.

This made me go get a replacement for my eSIM and still iMessage and FaceTime are not activated.

I’ve done it all. I’ve reset my network settings, I’ve logged out and logged back in my Apple ID, I’ve updated to iOS 18, I’ve deleted and reactivated the eSIM, I’ve got a new eSIM configured, even as a last resort I reset the whole device. Still, nothing.

what can I do to make this work?

Very simple.

1- Restore your iPhone to Factory (Erase everything included eSIMs).

2- Go to your Carrier service shop and tell them print QR Code of eSIM for NEW PHONE. Please DO NOT use OLD QR.

3- Register NEW QR of eSIMs to your iPhone

4- (with iOS 18) Go to Settings > Apps > Message > Enable iMessage, Send & Received: tick on all eSIM number and icloud email you have.

5- Wait for them ticked.

6- Restart iPhone.
