I had disabled privacy, background option, as suggested in articles but issues remains.

the hard part, Mail app doesn’t display what is the background activity.

Is there anyway to see logs of this app ? How to disable please ?

This was happening to me on a brand new 15 Pro Max w/ iOS 18.0.1… I went so far as to turn push off, and turn fetch to manual… did not work.

But I found a solution on another thread here or on Reddit, I don’t remember exactly as I was hunting for a bit for a solution: delete Mail app completely, restart phone, reinstall Mail app. Keep push off and keep fetch to manual.

0 background activity since.
