Unable to open any of my saved notes in Notes app after Sequoia update

Hi Adrian, I had that too but now Notes is displaying me three columns again. I loved it with only two columns, do you know how to set it like that? I want to double-click again :-)

got them to unlock by doing the gallery view trick and then creating the new note on my phone doing the handoff, then created a new note in my local folders and locking that note with the password, but now I still can't open any of my old notes. I am beyond upset. This is a huge issue

My notes are populating, but I can't use the search issue with my notes app at all.

I also had an issue with preview function disappearing after the update. Switching to gallery and rebooting fixe the problem, thank you!

This worked for me, thank you very much! Although, in my case the specific file was in this folder .../Preferences/By Host/com.apple.Notes... ...plist

Same issue here and I am panicking because I can't open any of my work notes, I needed them 26 mins ago and so far nothing is working
