Calendar on iMac says The server responded with an error and gives three choices: Revert to Server, Try Again, and Ignore. None of these did anything when I clicked on them and I had to Force Quit Calendar in order to continue using my computer.

Calendar works, no server error
Tick Google
Power cycle (just to check)
Calendar still works, no server error
Added a Google calendar event for today
Turned Calendar off and on - Google calendar event appears

Same here for a couple of weeks on a 2015 Macbook Air but not (yet) on an ancient iPad Mini 2. None of the suggested fixes have been successful.

I have been having this same issue too on my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) for a couple of months now. I was hoping updating to Monterey 12.7.6 would solve the problem but it has not.

This worked for me for a few months. The problem is back and this doesn't work anymore (with or without a reboot in between turning calendar on / off). Does anyone have a fix?
on my MacBook Air click on the apple in upper left corner. Force quit... is on the menu
it's returning much more frequently for me as well. I can get it to stop using the above method for a day or two but then it comes right back.
