GB is not playing what I recorded
I recorded a song on piano and when playing back, notes are changed, octaves changed, and the sound is like a tinker bell rather than piano. It's set on Steinway grand.

The piano roll was all over the place—off and on the staff. When I turned off the piano, deleted the first and second recordings, the third time it recorded normally. I have no idea what was going on, but the final recording was correct. Thanks for your question.
