iTunes on my Windows 10 Laptop not picking up all my music files on my NAS
Recently had an issue where for some reason iTunes (which as worked perfectly for years) decided to no longer recognise the path to the music files stored on my NAS. However, I got that sorted... sort of. I was eventually able to add the path to my iTunes music folder on my NAS and let it do its thing. When it completed, I noticed that more than several CDs I had ripped to iTunes were not there. I looked on the iTunes music file stored on my NAS and sure enough, there they all were. So why has iTunes decided not to pick up some of the files? All have been ripped using Apple Lossless, as have my other 2000 files.
So, I then ripped a new CD I had recently acquired in the Apple Lossless format and that appeared on both iTunes on my laptop and in the iTunes music file on my NAS.
Strangely, my Sonos app on my iPhone which has exactly the same pathway to the iTunes music file on my NAS does show ALL my music, none are missing, and they all play.
Any help would be appreciated.
