As shown below, the New Document is highlighted but I can't open it with the return key. I have to click on it. Also the Open option below is also greyed out. How can I open a new document without using the trackpad at all?

How does one know if it is a beta version or not?
Numbers ( version 14.1 (7040.0.73) is also the latest version released June 11, 2024 for mcOS 14 Sonoma

Yup. Its very, very odd.
I don't get the New Document button there, either, though the reset of it looks similar.
