My new Mac is asking me to enter my 4 digit passcode that I use for my phone, but I use a 6 digit code for my phone so it’s not working

4 digit code is sent to your iPhone iMessage or other Apple devices from Apple.
I’ve already done that code, this is to ‘finish setting up Apple id’. It says the code that I use to protect my Apple ID and all that
