The "knob" at the end of the cable has been cross-threaded. This happens when the knob is not flush against the surface of the Vision Pro before turning it clockwise when to make the connection. One remedy is carefully turning it counterclockwise to disconnect it from the Vision Pro. Whatever you do, do not attempt to push it further clockwise, as this would cause further cross-threading. Alternatively, take the unit to the Apple Store and let one of their techs try to free the knob. Fortunately, the battery cable is not permanently attached and is removable; it is replaceable if the end-knob has been damaged.
To disconnect the battery from your Apple Vision Pro, first save any open documents—disconnecting the battery will turn off the device—then turn the power cable counterclockwise until it detaches. See Turn off Apple Vision Pro.
