Relieve facial discomfort from Apple Vision Pro

Due to the weight of the device I expected a little facial discomfort, but goodness after 20 minutes or so I have to support the device with my hand to give my face a break from the pressure. Even with adjustments to both bands it’s uncomfortable while laying down, or relaxing at any angle that I’d like to relax and watch movies. Anyone know of any 3rd party straps yet or enhanced support to hold the device just a tad away from the face to relieve pressure?

That’s not good! See: How to get the best fit wearing Apple Vision Pro - Apple Support. You can also take it to an Apple Store to have them fit it for you. If you don’t feel comfortable wearing one, I’d see if you can return it. I’m not sure what the return window is, might be 14 days.

If you still need help go to https://store.apple.com/go/us/vision/fit/help, call 800-MY-APPLE, or visit your local Apple Store. You might need to use a different light seal.

I knew when we started seeing video and pictures of the Vision Pro that I was going to prefer the Solo Knit band but I was disappointed that it didn’t have the over the head extra support band that the Dual Loop band has. I started looking before they shipped the units for delivery on February 2nd what I could use to fashion my own band going across my head going from ear to ear. I settled on a CPAP head band I found on Amazon for only like $9 and that works pretty well giving me more support and relieving some of the pressure on my face. I also saw where a guy was using his baseball cap and looping a band near the front of his Vision Pro going around the bill of his cap to pull the weight from his face. I tried it but didn’t care for it cause for me the bill was pulled down making it hard to access the dial. I may do some more experimenting with the hat to see if I still can’t make that work for me. Good luck.
