Can I use my Magic Mouse connected to my m1 Mac mini to control the Vision Pro UI while in extended display mode?

When using my M2 MacBook Air, I am able to use the trackpad and keyboard built into the laptop on vision os windows. However, when extending my M1 Mac mini, only the keyboard works. Can I use the Magic Mouse connected to the m1 Mac mini via bluetooth to control vision OS windows? Using universal control, I am able to do this with for example my iPad Pro, but not Vision Pro.

Apple Vision Pro, visionOS 1

Hello kayne98!

If you are referring to the fact that it isn't working at all, I am not sure why the Magic Mouse doesn't work with Mac Virtual Display. You would think that it would be exactly like a regular display, where the keyboard and mouse have nothing to do with the display itself, and it only displays what in going on. I don't know why this is happening, and could possibly be a bug. Ask Apple about this on the Apple Vision Pro Feedback page.

If you are referring to the fact that your Magic Mouse can only be used with in the Mac Virtual Display and no other windows, this is simply because (in the Apple Vision Pro Technical Specifications on apple.com) Magic Mouse is not listed as compatible with Apple Vision Pro.

I hope this helps!
