I don't have cellular data right now it says I need an update how do I do that?
This is my first time having and using an iPhone. Can somebody please give me an answer I’m lost.

Do you have Wi-Fi? You can (and should) update using that - Update your iPhone - Apple Support
If you can't update via Settings over Wi-Fi, you can do so if you have a computer with Internet:
Mac - Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with the Finder - Apple Support
Windows - Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes - Apple Support
If you don't have Internet at all, you can take it to a Genius Bar and they'll update it for you.
