Updated to iOS17.1.2: Receiving "Verification Failed: There was a problem connecting to the server."
I updated to the latest iOS17.12 a few days ago. Everything was fine until I needed to accept "New iCloud Terms and Conditions". When I click on it, I received "Verification Failed" per the subject line.
When I click into "AppleID", then "Sign-In & Security", I get the message:
"Account Details Unavailable: If you are signing in to iCloud on another device or at iCloud.com, you can get a verification code while offline."
When I click "Get Verification Code", I receive a pop up with the 6 digit code. However, this code doesn't appear on any of my other Apple devices.
I have restarted the iPhone multiple times, as well as my other Apple devices (MacBook, iPad, Watch, etc). I would prefer not to do a factory reset, as since this update, my iCloud has not been backing up my data - and I have quite a few photos, videos, etc. that I would like to retain. Absolute worst case, I can copy them all off manually, but would prefer alternative options?
For clarity, I have tried this with 5G, my home wifi, and my office wifi. Same result each time. I can access App Store without issues.
Suggestions?
