Wrong account in "Music, Podcasts, and TV"; cannot change

I am running Mac OS 14.1.1 on an M1 MacBook Air. I keep getting prompts saying, This Mac can’t connect to Apple Media Services because of a problem with “xxx”. The account name xxx does NOT match with my iCloud account. When I go to the Control Center, Apple ID, Media & Purchases, the "Music, Podcasts, and TV" account name is different from my iCloud Apple ID. Try as I may to enter the correct account name, it will not update in Control Center, and I get the above error message every time I log into my Mac.

How to correct this?

Go to the Music/iTunes app -> Account -> Sign Out

Then, go back to Music app -> Account, and you might see the incorrect email there. If you do, sign out of that too.

Now, going back to Music app -> Account -> Sign In as the correct account
